Wittner Metronome Series 850 w/Beats & Bell Tempos Made In W. Germany w/Box

This vintage metronome was purchased in the early 1960’s for my music lessons and has been in my possession since new.
The plastic case is ivory in color.
It’s interesting to note that the metronome case is marked “Made in W. Germany” on the bottom and the box is marked “Made in Germany”.
This is a high-quality, precision instrument and works well.
You can see the model number “852” marked under the original price tag.
This metronome can be set to operate on beats only or beats with a bell to indicate the tempo.
Instructions are included.
It is in excellent working condition with its original packaging inserts and box. The box cover has some wear and tear but is still sturdy.
Fine crafted Wittner plastic case – Original Series Model 852 bell metronome
This model comes with a bell - a knurled button on the side of the metronome allows you to choose accenting with a bell on the first beat of each measure.
Tempos include 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8.
The plastic cover (included) DOES NOT latch onto the metronome case.
It may not be the original cover since it appears to be slightly different in color.
A weight slides along the pendulum to change tempos.
Range: 40 to 208 beats per minute.
Dimensions: 7 1/2" tall x 3” wide x 2 ½ deep
