Wilton Fondant Roller/Rolling Pin
Roll out fondant and gum paste for cutting, shaping, and decorating! Slip the easy-to-use guide rings onto the ends of your Fondant Roller to create precise depth and eliminate guesswork when you roll out fondant. Use the color-coded sizes to make favorite fondant decorations like these:

Rings guide you to the perfect depth!
Place rings on ends of Fondant Roller.
Place fondant on Wilton Roll-N-Cut Mat (sold separately), no wider than width of rings on your Fondant Roller.
Roll out fondant to depth of rings.
Follow these easy step-by-step instructions:
Slide the selected guide rings on Fondant Roller, about 1 in. from ends. Or leave rings off to roll to height desired.
Sprinkle Fondant Roller and the Wilton Roll-N-Cut Mat with confectioners' sugar.
Measure opposite sides and top of cake across center; add 2 in. and roll out fondant to that size,

in. thick (for example, an 8 in. cake, two sides each 4 in., plus 2 in. equals 18 in. diameter). Knead fondant until workable and roll out like a pie crust to the size calculated. Use the markings on the Roll-N-Cut Mat to roll to the perfect size. Be sure to life and move the fondant as you roll; add more confectioners' sugar to surface if necessary. This will prevent fondant from sticking to the mat.
Gently lift fondant over Fondant Roller.
Position fondant on buttercream iced cake, using rolling pin to guide. Using pal of hand, or Fondant Smoother (sold separately), smooth and shape fondant on cake top and sides until it feels silky. If large air bubbles are trapped under fondant, prick with a pin, gently press out air and continue to smooth. If fondant tears, work together with slightly greased fingertips, then pat with confectioners' sugar. Immediately trim excess fondant flush with the base of cake using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Use the trimmed fondant for molding flowers and borders.
Use and Care:
Before first and after every use, wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
