PLF2 Petoskey Limestone Formation Microfossil Rock Sample 500g

Description

A 500g of microfossil bearing limestone from the mid to late Devonian Petoskey Limestone Formation type locality in Petoskey, Michigan, USA. The layer of rock was full of coral, brachiopod, gastropod and occasionally stromatoporoid macrofossils. The microfossils I extracted included shark or acanthodian scales, at least one conodont, conodont pearls, plant fragments, arthropod cuticle. and part of a ganoid scale. This sample demands patience, but can be rewarding.
