    but was not assigned to a specific division. In 1940-1941 the battalion was used in combat in the west, particulary in France.
    From 1941, it operated on the Eastern Front. In 1942 it was assigned to the 9th Army of the Army Group Centre and in 1944 it was assigned to the Army Group North.
