    Description

    Hello,
    Metronome DE Maelzel, Paris France.
    This is an old Metronome that I bought at my local Goodwill.
    I did not know what it was, but I had seen these in movies.
    It is all original. I only cleaned it with dish detergent and water.
    It has a brass winding that has a wind up crank on the right side.
    All the metal is brass.
    The Emblem on the front is as follows, METRONOME DE MAELZEL,
    PARIS, FRANCE. AMERIQUE, BELGIQUE, HOLLANDE, ANGLETERRE.
    I am sorry for not knowing about this. A friend from a gym club told me about
    these as musical things.
    It is beautiful and all perfect and works great.
    When fully wound it goes on the slowest...lowest for about 20 minutes or so.
