Description
Original German WW2 Wehrmacht Field Trousers referred to as "Keilhose." The "Keilhose" pants were basically a crpss between the standard straight leg long pants and the Mountain Troopers pants with minor variations. The "Keilhose" pants were designed for combat wear with the most noticeable features being a seat and crotch reinforcement panel and tapered cuffs which gave the trousers a rather sloppy appearance making them less than attractive for regular off duty wear although they often were. This pair were well used but still solid with all of the dish alloy buttons andstraps
. A few minor field repairs which appear to be period done . Very faint markings on the inner belt band with what could be a RBNr which would be appropriate as these appear to be late war. Tough and durable set of trousers. These are some of the rarer Wehrmacht uniform items due to their field use and were still serviceable after the war as regular work trousers, unlike tunics and such. Estimated waist of 34" with a @28" inseam. Heavy and bulky so Domestic SH&I will be .00
