  • Condition: very good condition, considering its age. The lining is in especially excellent condition . Most of the wood slats and wicker is in great shape. There are a few pieces broken on top but is structurally sound and ready for use. Clasp works and is not broken

    Description

    This piece is ready for use! Although a fragile material, it is solid with minimal damage.
    The inside red  lining has no tears, holes, or other damage.
    The clasp is made of wicker and in good working order.
    The lid is tufted and padded for needles and pins.
    The lid is attached with a string attached to top and bottom on the left side.  Please see 6th picture.
    The bottom is wood covered with paper that is now wrinkled and some is missing. Still a solid piece from sooo many years ago and great for your favorite seamstress or your sewing room!
