  • Condition: this is in Very Good Condition; we did wind it a turn or two and it does work well; in addition to the side to side 'click', there is a Bell that dings in time; there is a small 'scuff' on one side but the Doors, Latches, etc. are all in very good shape

    Here is an
    Antique Metronome de Maelzel with Bell and Hinged Doors
    .
    This is marked
    Cramer & Co London
    on the inside (see photos). This appears
    to us to be original and in Very Good Condition for its age. There are no obvious
    signs of damage, misuse or poor storage however there is a small ‘scuff’ on
    one side. We were able to wind this a turn or two and it did work. There is a
    Bell that dings in time along with the side to side movement. The Doors,
    Hinges, Latches, etc. all work well. This does seem to have been well
    cared for and it being offered As Is.
