ANTIQUE FRENCH WOODEN METRONOME De MAELZEL FRANCE Belgique, Hollande, 9" TALL

Antique Metronome de Maelzal.  I don't know anything about this! I got this from a cousins estate.  It winds up and the arm goes back and forth and it sounds like there is a bell on every 4th click.  See all the pictures I took pictures of everything that is included.  There is one hole above the winding part that has nothing in it and the bottom is opened and it looks like there may have been a wooden piece that fits in there.  On the brass/metal face it is stamped Metornome de maelzal, Amerique, Belgique, France, Hollande, angieterre.  See close up photos.
