ANTIQUE CHINESE WEDDING CABINET

SUPERIOR CHINESE JOINERY.  Hand crafted. Pocket doors. Carved wooden moth fixture on doors.
This is a rare
primitive piece and is all original.  I believe it is from the MING period Dynasty.
The piece
came out of an estate in Vermont with an extensive Chinese collection.
Each piece of wood is unique.
See Slotted joinery along edges, front, sides, back. Old hardwood. Stained.
Stunning presence.  Ming simplicity.
Brass Moon plate. 2 drawers.  Carved along top. Bottom shelf
is missing.

note: I originally listed this as Qianlong period but have been advised that it is indeed Ming period. I am not an expert so I always appreciate comments from those that are.
