    Description

    This authentic Antique Chinese Petit Altar is Circa early of 19th century.  Intricate carvings of traditional Chinese design of "flower basket, calabash, flute, sword, fan and lotus" decorates the front apron of the cabinet. The two sides of the cabinet are carved with "bird, flower and leaf" design. Two small side drawers and one center cabinet have copper hardware. Original patina and wear. The cabinet is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure,  which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made from Cypress wood with beautiful wood grain, the cabinet is very solid and has been kept in excellent Condition.
