Up for auction is one antique/vintage
Oriental Lacquer Blanket/Dowry Chest
This piece comes as shown and measures
approx 30.5" x 18.5" x 34.5" tall.
There is some mystery involved with this piece.
Our client inherited it and was not given its history
but it appears to be some type of blanket or dowry
chest. We believe the material is walnut.
Features intricate carved and painted scenes on
top, front and side panels as well as two small drawers
at the bottom. All hardware is original to the piece.
