Miocene Era (5 million to 25 million year old!) marine fossils from 1000 feet above sea level in the Willapa Hills of Washington State. Each concretion is formed around the shell of a marine invertabrate. Cone snails, clams, and crabs are just a few of the wide variety found. Pictured for reference only are a set finshed with polyurethane and a set with some Fossil examples.
"The Lincoln Creek Formation, formerly called the Lincoln Formation, crops out in the Grays Harbor basin of southwestern Washington. It is principally an off- shore marine deposit and consists of as much as 9,000 feet of tuffaceous siltstone and tuffaceous fine-grained sandstone."
A Google search of "Lincoln Creek Formation" will produce several good pdf references supplied by the USGS
